Case Profile: Bashin v. Conduent, Inc.

Bryan Bashin, a blind camping enthusiast, brought suit under the California False Claims Act (CFCA) and California‚Äôs Unruh Civil Rights Act after learning that Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. and its contractor, US eDirect, Inc., had contracted with the California Department of Parks and Recreation to deliver a public-facing reservations website that was accessible to blind users–and then delivered a website that was not accessible. The case settled in November 2023.
